• View the workstation, user name and contact info of every user who is accessing the backend end Access or SQL Server database.   Now you know exactly who you need to ask to exit the database when doing maintenance such as adding tables, fields, indexes and relationships or compacting and repairing. 
• Create emails to users currently in backend and/or locked out when they attempt to start a locked application.   This feature allows you to conveniently ask users to exit the system when you need to do some work on the data file.     In addition, once you're finished, you can send emails to those users as well as any users who attempted to get into the system while they were locked out.  
• View the various MS Access exe and Jet, DAO and ADO DLL versions to ensure every workstation  is current
• Log all errors, warnings and actions such as creating target folders or shortcuts and files copied to the target folder.
• Alert email sent to developer if user encounters an error or warning
• Log errors and warnings to operating system application event log for IT administrators to be alerted of problems.
• The developer can force the utility to refresh all files for a specific user and configuration file.
• Lock out individual users from all applications started by the Auto FE Updater utility or a specific configuration file

Viewing the log details, such as errors, workstations, users, sessions, etc. and locking out users is done from within the Microsoft Access based  'AutoFEUpdater Log Viewer.mde' supplied with this utility.
